Khalsa Kits
My One-Woman-Show. My sub-nonprofit organization assembles thousands of kits for the unhoused population of Southern California. I singlehandedly founded the organization, organized volunteers, fundraising, and donations, gathered and organized inventory, worked to assemble the kits, and partnered with notable nonprofits to distribute the kits for us. I also manage all of the social accounts for the organization.

Project #1 - GoodKarmaLA
For our very first project, we assembled 1000 kits containing socks, shirts, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, first aid kits, and wipes. The kits were donated to the GoodKarmaLA which distributed the kits over the course of a month to the unhoused residents of Skid Row.

Project #2 - Karina's Backpack Project, Tiny Homes
For our second project, we made a total of 500 hygiene kits. The first 100 kits went into backpacks with school supplies made by Karina's Backpack Project and were donated to School on Wheels, an organization that tutors underprivileged kids. 300 kits were donated to the residents of Hope of the Valley's Tiny Home Project where homeless people have been moved into small homes. The remaining 100 kits were donated to GoodKarmaLA to distribute on Skid Row.

Project #3 - Tiny Homes, Partnered with La Cañada Schools
Our coming project (happening in March 2023) is being done in partner with an elementary and middle school in the La Cañada School District. The students will be volunteers in the assembly of 250 kits that will be donated to one of the Tiny Home Villages nearby.
